Greetings and blessings from Pittenweem, Anstruther, East Neuk of Fife I channeled the energy of this leaping lamb while moving solo in exam week! (Photo credit: The Irish Times). The east Neuk seems truly quaint and shanti and I look forward to exploring it soon with my Mum who will visit from Ireland. The Fife Coastal Trail is a super running/walking route and on my to do list is to embrace swimming in Pittenweem Pool (try to!) and the Cocoa Tree cafe. Academic semester 2 exams led directly into summer semester and my Pre Medicine students are keeping focus! ~ Weekly classes in St Andrews are detailed below. ~ For clients and readers in Fife: massage treatments are now available with me at the Coach house, Cove Wynd, Pittenweem. Take a 60 or 90 minute pause for self-care, soothe physical, postural and mental aches and pains with a nourishing treatment designed specifically for you, using Ishga organic massage oils (made in Scotland), in a humble yet peaceful space infused with mandarin, bergamot & geranium Ishga candles laying on an original massage plinth handmade using leather and wood by a carpenter in Dublin circa 2004. My experience in bodywork spans 18 years, 5 diplomas (in remedial/sport, pregnancy, holistics, oncology) and working in clinic, retreat and professional sport settings including with professional athletes such as: Fiji Rugby (Rugby World Cup 2015); the polyclinic at Commonwealth Games Glasgow 2014; the PGA; in my own practice within Triyoga Camden, NW1 London and Susafa, Sicily; everyday active people; corporate/desk workers; new Mums & pregnant ladies; paediatrics, the elderly and cancer patients. ~ I look forward to welcoming 14 ladies - old friends and new faces on a Summer Day Retreat at Thirlestane Castle, Lauder, Scottish Borders that my friend Suzi (CoreSculpt UK) and I co-host in June. We have planned some great content and a delicious lunch menu and feel excited about this date! ~ Thank you to all University of St Andrews students who joined a Springtime Yoga Retreat at All Saints Church in revision week. I hope it helped you to take a break and decompress ahead of final exams.
